Born on the Gold Coast, Australia and almost died as a baby in India, where the name Chintamani originates. It means-touchstone to God. As a child, I knew that I had been given an opportunity do something special with my life and there was a purpose to my being here in this world. Acting started as a child, while being home schooled, due to much travel around the world. Living a Gypsy-bohemian lifestyle, I became a chameleon at adapting to new people and surroundings, that has contributed to a rich resource of skills. It was the passion for cultural education that had the continuation of theatre, film and TV work be the focus. I have worked in film, television, theatre and print media, as an actor, costume designer, stylist and make-up artist for 15 years, in the USA, England and Australia. Whilst working in these fields, Also opening a crewing and makeover business that supplied technicians for, film, TV and print jobs in 2003. Using my styling background I was able to pass on to those who were wanting to change their external appearance to give them more confidence in their respective fields of work. Over the last two and a half years, whilst living in the USA, I have been writing screenplays, traveling and developing a Vegetarian Cooking show, MahaMana, whilst writing a cookbook to go with it. Growing up practicing a wholistic lifestyle of being Vegetarian, practicing yoga, meditation and alternative therapies, such as Aromatherapy and Massage, creating a show seemed to be the natural path to take, that incorporated all the skills and talents that I have been blessed with learning along the way. Growing up my parents ran a Vegetarian restaurant and my mom has worked in numerous Vegetarian establishments, so I have learnt so much from her. I have always loved food : eating it and making it ! I have also been adventurous in converting a lot of meat based dishes to Vegetarian alternatives, because I love variety and creativity. I have heard that it is the spice of life. I currently gives free vegetarian cooking classes for community events and cater vegetarian menus for meditation classes. Wanting to be involved in projects that inspire myself and others, I chose to do something that I am passionate about and allowed me to make a contribution. These are projects that incorporate working with talent from all walks of life.
